Wang Min displays the beer produced by her brewery De Feniks in Kortrijk, Belgium, Feb. 6, 2019. Wang Min, who hails from central China’s Hunan Province, founded the brewery De Feniks with her Belgian husband Kurt Decoene in Kortrijk in 2016. So far, the couple has produced various flavors of Belgian beers under their own brand. Thanks to China’s reform and opening-up policy and the Belt and Road Initiative, the Belgian beers are increasingly known among Chinese customers. Prior to the 2019 Chinese Lunar New Year, the couple upgraded the online shop of their brewery targeted at Chinese consumers and more products from their brewery are expected to be sold in China.
